Man Accused of Robbing Anchovy High School Student Granted Bail

Jamaica Crime News, St James: Robert Bacchas,  the 19 -year-old teenage bus conductor who hails from Rose Heights in St James, and who was arrested and charged for robbing a cell phone from a Anchovy High School female student, was granted bail in the sum of $100,000 when he appeared in the St James Parish Court a few days ago.

Bacchas who was represented by Attorney-at-Law Stacy-Ann Williams, was ordered to stay away from the school compound as part of his bail condition and to return to court on February 14, 2019.

Reports are that on November 20, 2019, Bacchas went to the compound of the Anchovy  High School and held up a female student and robbed her of her cell phone.

A report was made to the Anchovy Police and following an investigation, he was arrested and charged for larceny of the person.
