St James Man Accused of Chopping Woman in Face with Shovel

Jamaica Crime News, St James: Eric Brown, a St. James man accused of chopping a woman in her face with a shovel, appeared before the St. James Parish Court on Tuesday, June 12 where he pleaded not guilty to unlawful wounding.

It is alleged that on April 25 this year, the complainant visited Brown’s business establishment to pay a bill. On seeing the woman, Brown allegedly told the woman to get out of his business place then pushed her outside and used a shovel to hit her in her face causing a wound.

The matter was reported to the police and Brown was summoned to appear in court.
