Male Body Fished from Gorge in Kingston

Jamaica Crimes News, Kingston: The body of a 24-year-old man, was fished from the water of the Gorge located along Marcus Garvey Drive in Kingston on Wednesday night.

The deceased has been identified as 24-year-old Andrew Mead, also of a Kingston address.

Reports by the Hunts Bay Police are that about 11:40 p.m.,  a team of fishermen saw the body floating in the water of the Gorge and raised an alarm.

Denham Town Police Seeking Public Assistance to Identify Burnt Body

The police were summoned and upon arrival, Mead’s body was fished from the gorge. It was also discovered that he had what appeared to be a gunshot wound to his head.
