Maintenance Worker Murdered on King Street in Montego Bay

Montego Bay, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Maintenance Worker Murdered: The Barnett Street police are now carrying out investigations surrounding the shooting death of a 36-year-old maintenance worker, who resided at 12 1/2 Upper King Street, in Montego Bay, and who was shot and killed by unknown assailants in the area on Monday morning.

The dead man has been identified as Lionel Blake, Maintenance Worker of 12 1/2 Upper King  Street.

Reports by the police are that at about 6:30  on Monday morning,  November 13, Blake was walking along King Street,  when he was pounced upon by unknown assailants,  who shot him multiple times on his upper body.

The police were alerted, and upon their arrival, Blake was discovered lying on his back on the roadway, in a pool of blood.

The scene was processed and he was later transported to the Cornwall Regional Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Blake is the second person to be killed along King Street over the past few days.
