Jamaica Crime News, St Catherine: The St Catherine police on Monday, September 24, seized an M4 rifle along with four live rounds, during an operation carried out in the Central Village area of the parish.
Reports by the police are that on Monday afternoon, a team of officers carried out a number of operations in Central Village.
The lawmen went to a section of the area known as “Zambia” where a search was conducted on several premises and houses.
During the search, the illegal weapon was discovered hidden on one premises.
