Jamaica Sports News: Arawak Camp and Daaksyde are locked 1-1 after their first leg semi-final game yesterday in the Luther Buchanan Gold Cup, Arawak Camp took the lead early in the contest when Carson was played through on goal one on one with the keeper and he took his chance with a very compose finish past the Daaksyde goalkeeper,he could have added to his tally just before halftime but his volley went just wide with the goalkeeper looking helpless, in the second half both teams got settled and started to have their moments and Arawak Camp came close again to add to their only to see another Carson Findley shot rifled off the crossbar, Daaksyde was gifted and goal as Brandom Campbell in goal for Arawak Camp miss kicked the ball into the path of former Arawak Camp player Joey Hinds who calmly slotted home from close range to send the tie locked at 1-1 going into the second leg.

The second game was very intense between Bronx and Platinum Strikers, both teams created goal scoring opportunities but none were taken, the goalkeepers were kept very busy throughout the game as both teams searched for a lead. Bronx was without two key players but they managed to hold on for the draw going into next Sunday’s return leg.
