Hanover, Jamaica (Mckoy’s News) – Lucea Motorcyclist Perish: Officers attached to the Sandy Bay Traffic Department in the parish of Hanover are now carrying out investigations into a motorcycle accident which claimed the life of a motorcyclist on Friday night.
Dead is Derval Samuels, an employee of Chukka Blue Adventure Tours and resided in Askenish, Hanover.
Reports are that shortly after 10:45 p.m. on Friday, December 8, 2017, Samuels was riding his motorcycle from the direction of Hopewell towards Lucea in Hanover. On reaching the area of the Tryall Water Wheel in the vicinity of the Tryall main road, Samuels reportedly lost control of the motorcycle which crashed.
He sustained head and body injuries and was rushed to the Noel Holmes Hospital in Lucea where he was pronounced dead while being treated.
