Jamaica News, March 8, 2018 – Lucea Farmer Found Murdered                                     

Hanover, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – The Lucea police are now carrying out investigation surrounding the death of a man who was discovered with gunshot wounds at his home in Greenland District, Hanover, on Wednesday afternoon, March 7.

The deceased has been identified as 64-year-old Melvin Christie, otherwise called “Henry”, farmer of Hepingate in Greenland, Hanover

Reports by the Lucea police are that, residents in Greenland reported that they did not see the farmer from Tuesday.

On Wednesday, March 8, residents went to his house in search of him and discovered Christie lying in a pool of blood in his house.

The police were summoned and upon arrival, they carried out an investigation and discovered that the victim had what appeared to be gunshot wounds to his upper body.

The body was transported to the Noel Holmes Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
