Antonio Mckoy CEO - Mckoy's NewsMontego Bay, Jamaica (Mckoy’s  News) – Lotto Scam Case Transferred to Circuit Court:  The case involving lottery scam suspect Romaine Reid, who was arrested during a police operation, has been committed to the St. James Circuit Court.

The committal proceedings took place in the St. James Parish Court today.  As part of the proceedings, Reid was offered bail in the sum of $250,000 with three sureties and is expected to appear in the High Court on September 26.

Reid, who hails from Montego Bay, is charged for breaches of the Law Reform (Fraudulent Transactions) (Special Provisions) Act.

According to court records, on May 15, 2017, a team from the Major Organised Crime and Anti-corruption Agency (MOCA) went to premises in Norwood and conducted a search of the house, where Reid was seen.

During the search, a quantity of lead sheets was reportedly found.
