St James, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Lottery Scamming Fueling Crime: Woman Inspector and JCF Special Liaison Officer representing the Office of the Commissioner, Dian  Bartley on Thursday morning told media personnel that proceedings from the Lottery Scamming are being used to fuel crime in St James.

According to Inspector Bartley,  since January 1st of 2017 to December 31st  of 2017,  335 murders have been recorded in the parish of St James along with 253 shooting.  This she says has now resulted in a Major intense joint military operation being carried out.

The operation is focused on apprehending the major players in the lottery scamming along with gunmen, other criminals elements and seizing all illegal weapons.

The inspector further stated that these criminals have no regard for life and the military intends to arrest the crime rate just now.
