Jamaica Crime News, St Andrew: The police in the parish of St Andrew have now confirmed that a licensed firearm holder was taken into custody for questioning, in connection with a shooting and wounding incident which occurred at a premises in Duhaney Park earlier that day.

In the meanwhile, the victim who was shot and wounded, alleged by the Licensed firearm holder, is presently still at hospital in serious condition.

Our news team learned that, on Sunday afternoon, the licensed firearm holder and the other man got involved in an argument at the premises during what time he was shot.

Illegal Firearm Seized in Westmoreland

The wounded man ran from the premises and jumped into his car and attempted to drive himself to hospital but he lost consciousness and crashed into a wall.

The police were summoned and upon arrival, the wounded man was transported to hospital where he was admitted in serious condition.

Following investigations, the licensed firearm holder was taken into custody for questioning.
