Koffee’s Lockdown nabs Outstanding International Song at NAACP Image Awards

Grammy award winning entertainer Koffee, copped the Outstanding International Song award last night, during Night 4 of the NAACP Image Awards.

This, for her Dane Ray produced hit, Lockdown.

The NAACP has been revealing its winners for the 52nd NAACP Image Awards each night this week across various categories, leading up to the televised awards show on BET and CBS on Saturday, March 27.

Koffee topped other nominees in the category, which include: Blessed by Buju Banton, Pressure (Remix) by Koffee feat. Buju Banton, Tanana by Davido feat. Tiwa Savage, and Temptation by Tiwa Savage.

Released last summer, Lockdown has amassed over 46 million views on YouTube so far and was the first video by a Jamaican entertainer to top one million views on the platform withing 48 hours.
