Kingston Police Seeking Public’s Assistance to Identify Male Victim

Jamaica Crime News, Kingston: The Papine police in the parish of St Andrew, say they are now asking members of the public for their assistance, to identify a male, who was shot and killed by unknown assailants, along a section of St. Joseph’s Road, in Papine, St. Andrew, on Saturday, April 6.

Detectives say anyone with information is being asked to immediately come to the Papine station, or contact the nearest police station.

Reports by the Papine police are that, about 2:45 a.m. on Saturday, residents heard a barrage of gunshots being fired in the community, and summoned the police.

Upon the arrival of the lawmen, the unidentified male was discovered lying along the roadway on his back, in a pool of blood, with multiple gunshot wounds.

He was immediately transported to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
