Kingston Police Search For Bar Operator’s Killer

Jamaica Crime News, Kingston: The Kingston police say they are now in search of one man for questioning, in connection with the murder of a female bar operator, who was shot and killed at her home in Park Lane, Kingston, St Andrew, on Wednesday night, June 5.

The deceased has been identified as 55-year-old Ann-Marie Brown, bar operator of park lane, in Kingston 19.

Reports by the Constant Spring police are that about 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday night, Brown was at her home in Park Lane, when she was pounced upon by armed men.

The gunmen brandished handguns and opened fire hitting Brown multiple times to her upper body, before leaving the scene.

The police were summoned and upon their arrival, Brown was discovered suffering from gunshot wounds in her yard.

She was taken to hospital, where she was pronounced dead upon arrival.

Investigators say they are not prepared to release the name of the suspect, at this early time.
