Jamaica News, March 29, 2018 – Kingston Police Calling on Robbery Victim

Kingston, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – The Kingston Western Division police say they are now appealing to the female victim of a robbery, which took place at the intersection of Beckford Street and Luke Lane in Kingston on Thursday, February 8, to come forward.

The police have reported that, following the robbery they managed to apprehend the robber and now need her assistance for the case against him and also to claim the items which were robbed.

Investigators have reported that on the day in question, a team of officers were in the area and observed him removing the female’s anklet by force. He was later chased and held.

Following a search of his person, the lawmen recovered the anklet and the robber was subsequently charged with Larceny.

The female victim is about 5ft 5ins tall, and was wearing a blue dress at the time of the incident.

She is now being asked to contact the Denham Town Police Station or to visit the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court on Thursday, March 29.

Anyone knowing the whereabouts of the victim, are being asked to contact the Denham Town investigation Branch.
