Kingston Man Succumbs to Gunshot Wounds at Hospital

Jamaica Crime News, Kingston: One man who was shot and seriously injured by gunmen at Black Sea Drive, in Kingston 11, on Tuesday, April 2, succumbed to his injuries at hospital on Wednesday, April 3.

He has been identified as 42-year-old Andrew Nelson, laborer also of Black Sea Drive.

Reports by the Hunts Bay police are that about 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Nelson was walking in his community when he was attacked by unknown assailants, who shot him multiple times and left him for dead.

The police were summoned and upon their arrival, the wounded man was transported to hospital, where he was admitted in critical condition.

Nelson later succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday morning.
