Jamaica Crime News: Kingston Man Arrested For Stabbing Death of Elderly Man –  A man who uses a knife to stab an elderly man to death at premises along Arnold Road in Kingston 11, on Monday morning, February 11, is now in police custody at the Central Police station.

The deceased has been identified as 74-year-old, Edward Beason, of A Fleet Street address in Kingston, while the identity of the accused is being withheld pending further investigation.

Reports by the Central police are that about 3:30 p.m., on Monday, Beason was sitting on a chair at the premises when an argument developed between him and the accused.

A knife was brought into play which was used by the accused man to inflict a stab wound to Beason’s stomach.

The wounded man was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, while the accused was arrested after an investigation by the police.
