A 39-year-old hairdresser who was held with a quantity of cocaine at the Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston on Saturday, February 23, is booked to make her first appearance in court today Thursday, February 28.
The accused has been identified as Sabrina Hunter who hails from a Kingston address and she is facing charges of possession of cocaine, dealing in cocaine and importing cocaine.
Reports are that about 12:30 p.m., last Saturday, Hunter arrived in the island on a flight at the Norman Manley International airport, and a search was carried out of her person and belongings by the airport security.
She was found to be carrying cocaine weighing approximately one pound and was taken into custody and charged. The drugs as an estimated street value of JA $600,000.
