Kingston Eastern Police Seeking Public Assistance to Identify Female Murdered in Kingston

Jamaica Crime News, Kingston: Detectives attached to the Kingston Eastern Police say they are now seeking the assistance of the public, to identify a female, whose body was discovered with multiple stab wounds, along a section of Mountain View Avenue, Kingston 2 on Tuesday morning of July 17th.

The body is if dark complexion, medium built and about 5ft 4ins tall and believed to be in her early thirties.

Reports by the Mountain View police are that about 6:00 a.m., residents stumbled upon the body along the roadway and alerted the police.

Upon arrival, the lawmen discovered that the body of the unidentified female was clad only in a blue jeans pant and only in a black brassiere.

The Jamaica music fraternity was plunged into mourning after the passing of “Carrot” formerly of world renowned group Third World.

The victim is believed to be in her late thirties had multiple stab wounds to her upper body.  The victim was transported to hospital where she was pronounced dead upon arrival.

A digitally enhanced image has been created of the likely appearance of the victim.

Anyone with information that can assist the police in their investigations are been asked to immediately contact the Elleston Road police at 928-4200.
