St James, Jamaica (Mckoy’s News) – The Freeport police in St James have reported that King Evil, one of Jamaica’s Most Wanted Men, who fled the Island after he was fingered in a 2008 stabbing murder incident which took place at a night club in Montego Bay in June of 2008, was deported back to the island over the weekend and was immediately arrested on a warrant and taken into custody.
The accused, Omar Lewis otherwise called KING EVIL or SCRAPPY, 41-year-old of 12 1/2 Upper King Street, also known as Canterbury, in St James was wanted in connection with the murder of Oakley Richard Reid, 23-year-old unemployed of Granville.
Reports are that about 4:00 am on June 26, 2008 Lewis (King Evil) and another man named as Orlando Williams got involved in an argument with Oakley Reid while at a party been held inside the Moods Night Club located at Gloucester Avenue in Montego Bay.
During the Dispute both King Evil and Williams allegedly drew knives and stabbed Reid to death.
Both accused fled the scene.
On August 1st 2008 Williams was picked up and charged with the murder, and it was pointed out that Lewis fled the
country to the USA.
Due to lack of evidence, the case against Williams was thrown out of Court but he was shot and killed by gunmen on
October 2nd in the year 2014 along Union Street.
Last Thursday May 27th 2017, Lewis (King Evil), a multiple deportee from the US, who has been arrested several times in Florida on gun charges, fraud and Immigration Offenses, was deported from the USA to Jamaica and was served a Warrant of Arrest in connection with the murder of Oakley Reid on Tuesday May 2nd 2017.
The Canterbury strong man is booked to appear before the St James Parish Court at a later date.
