Kimroy Bailey, well know robotics engineer who rose to fame in the year 2012, after walking away with the Prime Minister’s Youth Award for Excellence, has now turned fugitive and is being sought by detectives assigned to the Counter-Terrorism and Organized Crime Investigation Branch.
Bailey who is the CEO of Kimroy Bailey Group of Companies which introduces itself as a contract market for robotics engineering software, while the Kimroy Bailey Foundation provides Internet access and robotics engineering training for persons in rural Jamaica between the ages of 13 to 30-year-old.
During a release by the Counter-Terrorism and Organized Crime Investigation Branch on Wednesday, Kimroy Bailey and his wife, Sherika Bailey are being asked to contact them immediately.
And the investigators say they are also asking any member of the public who conducted business with them and have not received their goods the Contact the Fraud Squad at 876-922-2374.
In 2012 during his last year in university Bailey used his engineering skills to create the first robotic wind turbine capable of maintaining production during heavy windy conditions or even a tropical storm.
He also walked away with the second place trophy in the Global Humanitarian Research Competition which was organized by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
