Joint Military Searches Houses in Flankers – St James with Military Dogs

St James, Jamaica (Mckoy’s News) – Joint Military Searches Houses in Flankers: the Joint military forces on Saturday carried out a major operation at a section Flankers community in St James known as Rifle Lane. The operation saw a large amount of police and soldiers carrying out a house to house searches in the area.

The operation which is part of the State of Emergency was focused on this particular area based on the fact that a 15-year-old boy who hails from the said area was recently arrested and charges of murder and gun charges.

One police source also stated that it has been discovered that a number of teenagers living in this area are linked to several crimes and gangs.

Also, two illegal firearms were seized in this area over the past week, so the joint forces decided to approach the search with the use of sniffer dogs.

It has been reported that so far six men have been detained in the operation today.
