Montego Bay, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Jermaine Barrett Laid to Rest: Jermaine Barrett, the man from Flankers in St James, who was diagnosed with a tumor over his left eye, was laid to rest on Sunday, November 5, at a funeral service held at the Flankers SDA on November 11.
Several family members and friends paid tribute to the man who was once a skin art specialist and also worked in the hotel industry. He was sponsored by Prime Minister Andrew Holness to travel to the USA to seek treatment. He went through 10 operations and just as it seemed things were looking good, his condition deteriorated and he eventually died.
His body was interred at the Hillview Memorial Gardens in St James. Councilor Charles Sinclair was one of the persons who paid tribute to Jermaine.
