$19,136 raised of US $20,000 for Actress Rosie Murray Heart Surgery

JAMAICAN NEWS, FEBRUARY 18, 2018 – Actress Rosie Murray Heart Surgery:

The GofundMe Rosie Murray Heart Operation campaign has raised $19,136 raised of US$20,000 (2. 5 Million Jamaican) requested donations for an angioplasty the well known Jamaican actress is in need of since a major heart attack in last December.

Popular Jamaican actress Rosie Murray reportedly suffered a major heart attack on December 29 and is now in
need of life saving surgery.

Murray was very active on the theatre scene, appearing in local and international runs in plays such as Saving Grace, and an Actor Boy-nominated performance in, Tek Yuh Hand Offa Me.

Rosie Murray was supposedly attending a close friend’s birthday party when the heart attack occurred.

“Our life hasn’t been the same as of that night as we fought to keep her alive and are now doing every means possible to help her recovery, to get back to a regular functioning life,” her son, Phillip Lopez, said in the GoFundMe post. 

Persons who are unable to contribute to GoFundMe are encouraged to make donations to Murray’s savings account number, 407350, at Scotiabank, Christiana branch or any Scotiabank.
