St Catherine, Jamaica (McKoy’s News)25 Most Vile Gang Members Nabbed: the Jamaica Counter-Terrorism and Organised Crime (C-TOC) unit, updated the count of gang members in police custody from Jamaica’s most organised, vile gang and criminal network to 25 alleged criminals, including a police constable.

This is new development is in relation to Jamaica’s effort to root out the island’s most notorious criminal networks.

According to police, the arrest of the 25 reported gang member occurred is the ongoing police operation by the C-TOC.

Members of the St Catherine based “Uchence Wilson” gang, which is about 40 members strong wreaked mayhem in deadly rampage across the parishes of Jamaica, with operations in  St Catherine, St Andrew, St Mary, St Ann, Trelawny, Clarendon and Manchester.

According to Head of C-TOC, Assistant Commissioner of Police Fitz Bailey the Uchence Wilson gang is a well organised gang, which remained under the radar while carrying out some of the vilest crimes on the Island, including robberies, extortions, rapes, murders, torture.

SEXUAL ASSAULT ON WOMEN AND CHILDREN: The “Uchence Wilson” gang would break into homes and rain sexual assault on women and children, also force the victims to perform oral sex on each other in front of children, and would kill or maim anyone who resisted.

This gangs is particularly versed for home invasion, where they a carry out heinous acts of violence – the gang would attack their victims home after careful planning and surveillance, police say.

POLICEMAN AND WOMEN ALSO GANG MEMBERS: As per the head of the C-TOC, Fitz Bailey, three women and one police constable were taken in the bunch of members of the Uchence Wilson gang

Police also report that the gang is responsible for the theft of 15 guns from licensed firearms holders across the country. The group is also alleged to be responsible for stealing several Hiace and Coaster buses.

25 Most Vile Gang Members Nabbed: ACP Bailey reports that investigations into the gang began in May this 2017, after a series of robberies committed in St Ann.
