Kingston, Jamaica (Mckoy’s News) – Police Getting 146 New Motorcycles: National Security Minister Robert Montague made an announcement last week Tuesday (January 23, 2018) that one hundred and forty-six motorcycles are to be imported next month to complement the Jamaica Constabulary Force’s vehicle fleet.
This announcement was made during the handing over of six service vehicles and four bicycles to the St. Thomas Police.
The event took place at the Morant Bay police station.
The distributions are as follows – fifty-three motorcycles to be assigned to the Traffic and Highway Division while 93 trail bikes will be used in the fight against praedial larceny and the recovery of stolen cell phones.
Each police division is expected to receive at least five motorcycles.
