The Clarks endorsing dancehall deejay Jahvillani just dropped his new single Don’t Rush today April 17th, which is currently streaming on both VEVO and YouTube for fans wanting their very own listening experience. The official audio issues a compact medley of slick rhymes covering all things gangster.
Big guns, high grade, girls, sex, money and lots of blood shed are the areas of focus in this latest composition. The fully covid (not to be confused with coronavirus) deejay says he’s a cold hearted gangster and true to form, warns not to violate or he will be sure to annihilate. Although, his threats turn to cold acts of violence when he somewhat stories a modern warfare, dubbed the 1Gov Edition which details personal convictions of murders and slayings on all levels of savagery.
The Wileside Government delivers this single in the style of simply spitting rhymes; the track lacks a hook or truly any verbosity that relates to the title. However we know it lends instrumentals from the previously released, November 2019 hip-hop hit single Don’t Rush by British hip hop duo Young T & Bugsey, featuring Headie One.
Chronic Law has also done a feature on the same riddim and of matching title Don’t Rush. The single released yesterday April 16th, which is more of gyalis tune than anything else.
Jahvillani offers his unique flare in his version and does a superb job in riding the movements of the riddim to deliver his vicious rhymes. The tempo of the track is especially hypnotic, sparking an inclination to move when the beat waves over — another commendable presentation from the Rubberband deejay.
The 1Govament creation was produced by YGF Records and has already been streamed over 60k times in under 6 hours. Check out the official audio for Jahvillani’s Don’t Rush single below-
