Jamaica Crime News: Italian Arrested in Jamaica with Three Illegal Firearms – A 56-year-old, Italian national who has been living in Jamaica over the past years, was taken into custody and charged for Breaches of the Firearms Act on Tuesday, following the seizure of three illegal handguns at premises which he occupies in St Elizabeth.

Facing charges of Illegal Possession of Firearm and Ammunition is Paolodel Grande, otherwise called  ” Captain ” of Old Wharf district, in Pedro Plains, St Elizabeth.

Reports by the Pedro Plain police are that about 8:00 a.m., on Tuesday,  a team of officers carried out an operation at premises occupied by Grande in Pedro Plains.

During the operation, a search of his premises resulted in the discovery of three illegal handguns.

The lawmen say one of the firearms is a Colt  .44 pistol,  but the make and model of the other two weapons are not known.
