A number of male Reggae acts will also be sharing the stage with their female counterpart, namely, Bounty Killer, Tony Rebel, and Tarrus Riley.

Mckoy’s News was reliable informed that several artistes (both old and young upcoming entertainers)  have pledged their support in (songs) to end this wanton and barbaric act against the women and children, whose lives are constantly being cut short by the hands of a few evil men in midst.

Ruff Kutt Reggae Band will do the honor, while master of ceremonies duties will be done by the Comedians duo, Ity and the Fanciest Cat.

This year’s International Women’s Day is expected to draw a large turn out from the female groupings, because of the many abused, murder, intimidation, rape, discrimination, both at home and in the work places.

International Women’s day will be celebrated from March 6th, through to the 12th, 2017. This year’s celebration is also expected to see many activities taking place all over the island.
