An illegal firearm and one round of ammunition were seized by the police in Roehampton, St. James on Tuesday, July 26.
Reports are that about 5:30 a.m., a team conducted a search operation at a house in the community. While searching a bedroom on the property, a Glock 19 pistol and a magazine containing one 9mm round were found concealed in the drawer of a dresser.
No one was arrested in connection with the seizure, however, the investigation continues.
