Jamaica Crime News, Westmoreland: Illegal Firearm Seized Detectives attached to the Savanna-la-mar Police Station in the parish of Westmoreland, seized an illegal firearm and several rounds of ammunition, during an operation carried out at a premises along Ricketts Street, in Savanna-la-mar, on Saturday, March 23.

No one was arrested in connection with the seizure.

Female Among Three Persons Arrested for Illegal Firearm in St James

Reports by the police are that about 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, a team of officers carried out an operating at sections of Ricketts Street.

During the operation, a search was carried out at an abandoned building and a Beretta 9-mm semi-automatic pistol, fitted with a magazine containing eleven 9mm rounds, was seized.
