Illegal Firearm Seized State of Emergency in Kingston

Jamaica Crime News, Kingston: An illegal firearm along with several rounds of ammunition, was discovered by a joint military team in the State of Emergency in Kingston on Wednesday morning, October 17.

No one was arrested in connection with this latest seizure.

Reports by the Hunts Bay Police are that about 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, a joint military team carried out an operation at an abandoned house in the area.

During the operation, a clothes basket was searched and the weapon,  a Glock pistol fitted with a magazine containing five live rounds of ammunition, was seized.
