ILLEGAL FIREARM SEIZED IN KINGSTON

The Kingston police on Tuesday, March 5, seized an illegal firearm and several rounds of ammunition, during an operation carried out along a section Gold Street.
No one was arrested in connection with the seizure.
Reports by the Central police are that between the hours of 2:30 p.m., and 4:30 p.m., a team of officers carried out on operation at sections of Gold Street.
During the operation, several houses were searched, and during the search of one premise, the lawmen stumbled upon a Taurus 9-mm semi-automatic pistols and twenty-six (26) .45 rounds of ammunition, concealed in a concrete wall.
