Hunt on to Find Men Behind Murder of Teenager in Kingston West

Jamaica Crime News, Kingston: The Denham Town police say they are now combing sections of the Denham Town area, in search of armed gang members who are linked to the shooting death of 17-year-old Daniel Davis of Drummond Street, in Kingston 14, and the shooting and wounding of two other men along Wellington Street in Kingston on Monday, April 21.
One police source told McKoy’s News that they expect to apprehend these men before the curfew is lifted from the community.

Reports by the Kingston West police are that shortly after 8:40 p.m., Davis and the two other men were walking along a section of Wellington Street, when they were ambushed by armed men.

The gunmen opened fire hitting all three victims to their upper bodies before escaping in the area.

The police were summoned and upon their arrival, the three victims were rushed to hospital where Davis was pronounced dead, and the other two men admitted in serious condition.
