Housekeeper Injured in St Ann Accident, Dies at Hospital

Latest Jamaica News, St Ann: A St Ann woman who was hit by a. A motor vehicle while she attempted to cross a section of the Runaway Bay main road, in St Ann last Wednesday, succumbed to her injuries yesterday, at hospital.

She has been identified as 28-year-old Joan Johnson, a housekeeper of Stand Fast district, also in St Ann.

Reports by the Runaway Bay police are that last Wednesday, July 17, Johnson was crossing a section of the roadway, when she was hit by a motorist driving a Toyota Axio motor car.

The police were summoned and upon their arrival, the wounded woman was transported to hospital where she was admitted in the intensive care unit.

After spending several days at hospital, Johnson succumbed to her injuries.
