Jamaica Crime News, Westmoreland: A family of four narrowly missing being killed on Tuesday morning, August 7, after a group of armed men shot up their home in Frome, Westmoreland.

The Frome police reported that no one was injured during the attack, but they have now commenced an investigation into the shooting.

Reports are that about 2:30 a.m., the family members were at home when a group of armed men entered the yard.

The Jamaica music fraternity was plunged into mourning after the passing of “Carrot” formerly of world renowned group Third World.

Further reports are that the gunmen opened fire on the house, which resulted in the house structured being damaged by the bullets.

The police were called before the gunmen got sufficient time to do any further damage. The gunmen made their escape in the area on foot.
