Hotel Worker Rapes Female Tourists at Gunpoint

Jamaica Crime News, St James: One man who is employed as an Entertainment Co-ordinator at a popular resort in Montego Bay, St James, is now being sought by the police, after he reportedly forced his way inside a room at the hotel and sexually assaulted two female tourists at gunpoint on Thursday night,  September 28.
The accused has been identified as Demar Scott, an Entertainment Co-ordinator, employed to the Reggae Riu Hotel in Rosehall and who resides at  Exchange in Ocho Rios, St Ann and Comfort District in Williamsfield, Manchester.
Reports by the police are that about 11:15 pm on Thursday night,  Scott who had been employed to the resort earlier this week, broke into a room at the hotel and stole a licensed firearm belonging to a guest who is a licensed firearm holder.
Scott then went to the room which was occupied by two American female tourists and held them at gunpoint.
He then forcefully had sex with the two visitors, while still holding them at gunpoint.
A struggle developed between him and the females and the firearm fell from his hand to the floor.
The weapon was picked up by one of the female victim, who shot Scott twice to his upper body.
Scott ran from the room, jumped from the balcony and escaped in bushes.
The female raised an alarm and the police were summoned by the hotel management.
 Upon arrival,  the females made a report and handed over a Glock pistol, loaded with sixteen live rounds to the police.
Scott who is believed to be seriously wounded is being sought by the police.
