Hotel Groundsman Man Murdered in St James

St James, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Hotel Groundsman Man Murdered: The police at the Granville station in St James are now carrying out investigations surrounding the death of a man who was shot and killed by gunmen at his home in the Granville area on Wednesday night, September 6, 2017.

Dead is 50-yr-old Garfield Green, Grounds Man employed to the De Cameron Resort but resides at Retirement in Granville, St James.

Reports are that about 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, residents in the Retirement community called the Granville police after hearing a barrage of gunshots being fired in the community.

The lawmen rushed to the scene and Green was discovered lying in his yard in a pool of blood with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body.

The scene was processed and the victim transported to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
