Hopewell Man Facing Murder Charges Remanded Until Next Circuit In November.

Jamaica Crime News, Hanover: A Hanover man who was taken into custody in February of 2018 and charged with murder by the Sandy Bay Police was remanded to custody until the next sitting of the Hanover Circuit Court in November.

The accused has been identified as Shane Morgan of a Bamboo Drive address also in Hopewell, Hanover.

Morgan who was charged with the murder of, Kino Ottey, another man of Zion Road also in Hopewell, will appear at the first sitting of the Circuit Court on 11th November.

It is reported that shortly after 10:00 pm, in January of this year Ottey was walking home from a function along Bamboo Drive when he was attacked by an armed man.

Ottey was shot to death by his attacker.

Following an investigation the accused was taken into custody and subsequently charged.
