Jamaica News: Badmind! That’s how Prime Minister Andrew Holness labeled political critics of the state’s measures to reduce crime in the country.
Mr Holness who was addressing a quarterly press brief at Jamaica House Wednesday reiterated the 17 percent reduction in murders announced by the Jamaica Constabulary Force on Tuesday.
The 17 percent dip represents 161 fewer murders when compared to the same period in 2017.
The Prime Minister said the reductions in murders and shootings are the manifestation of a crime plan. He therefore urged the public to resist what he called the propaganda of critics including the PNP.
”Any Jamaican who believes what is happening is just by virtue of coincidence would be grossly mistaken or would have fallen prey to the very devious propaganda by some agents who look at the success with badmind” said Mr Holness.
