Latest Jamaica News: Jamaican Football Star Brian Brown Strikes Three – Reggae Boy and National and former Rusea’s High School striker Brian “Neigo” Brown, slapped FK Kukesi, with a hat trick in the span of 10 minutes, enabling his Albanian team FK Partizani ’s to snatch victory from their grasp and lift the Albanian Championship Cup on Sunday.
The 26-year-old striker who hails from Montpelier in Hanover emerged as the “Dark Horse”, the Achiles Heel, a thorn in the side of Kukesi. He rose from the benches and within minutes brought his team to championship glory after trailing 2-1 for 90 percent of the game.
Brown’s goals came in the 88th, the 94th and in the 99th minute, perhaps an omen of more to come, as this is the number of the jersey he wears.
“Great team performance last night from the lads. First of my trophies to come this season. Thanks to all the fans who came out and supported us,” the football star wrote.
The striker who is just one inch shy of six feet tall posted three clips of his goals on his Instagram page on Sunday night.
In the first clip, Brown runs into the penalty area spins and chips the ball into the net just outside of the 6-yard box. In the second he uses his powerful left foot to fire a bomber which left the goalkeeper wanting,” then runs and celebrates with his teammates as the commentator calls his name repeatedly: “Brian Brown, Brown, Brown”.
In the final strike that sealed his team’s fate, Brown unmarked, was in the centre of the penalty area, defenders seemingly oblivious that he was in such a dangerous position. The smooth low strike from a waiting Brown was executed with such stealth and finesse, the stunned Kukesi team did not even realize what had hit them. Even though the goalkeeper tried desperately to latch onto the ball, it danced its way into the back of the net.
