Hanover Woman Killed in Fatal Crash in St James

Thirty-six-year-old Simone Horton, a babysitter of Pondside in Hanover, died from injuries she sustained in a motor vehicle accident along the 41 main road in Mount Salem, on Sunday, February 27.

Reports are that about 9:00pm, the now-deceased was driving her Nissan AD Wagon motor car along the roadway in 41 Rose Heights, when she lost control of the vehicle which collided in a parked truck.

Horton sustained serious injuries to her head and body, and was transported to the Cornwall Regional hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
