A Hanover woman who was allegedly set ablaze by her jealous boyfriend on May 19 in Great River, Hanover, has died.
The deceased, Nicola Clarke died at the JMS Burn Center at the Doctors Hospital of Augusta in Atlanta, Georgia, around 5:20 p.m. Sunday, August 22.
Sanmerna Foundation director Robert Whyte stated his team did everything to save Clarke.
According to reports, Clarke who owned a car wash and bar, was said to have gotten into an argument with her boyfriend at 4:30 p.m. on May 19. He then allegedly set fire to her and the building.
The man was eventually apprehended, after he had gone to a hospital in Hanover to get medical help for burns he sustained during the attack.
