Jamaica News: A man who the Hanover Police say has been  on the list of wanted men in the parish of Hanover for several years and who was being sought in connection with various crimes, ranging from illegal Possession of Firearm and Ammunition to shooting, was held during an operation carried out in the parish of St Thomas recently.

The police have indicated that the identity of the accused who hails from Camp Road in Hopewell Hanover is being withheld as he may have to face a series of identification Parades.

It is reported that few days ago the wanted man, who has managed to elude the police over the past five years, was picked up during an operation in St Thomas recently after he was caught with a number of false identification and documents

The Hanover police have informed our news team that arrangements are now being made to transport the wanted man to the Lucea Lockup immediately after he has faced the penalties from the St Thomas police.
