The two men who are said to be from the parish are being sought in connection with the gun murder of  Patroy Smith,  otherwise called “Pauna”  27-year-old bar owner of  Logwood,  also in Green Island.

Man Sentenced to Life for Quadruple Murder in Linstead

Reports by the police are that shortly after 12:30 p.m., Smith was standing outside his bar in Logwood, when a grey Toyota Axio motor car drove up to the establishment.

The Jamaica music fraternity was plunged into mourning after the passing of “Carrot” formerly of world renowned group Third World.

Two men travelling on board the motor car stepped out and brandished handguns.  The men opened fire hitting Smith to his upper body before speeding away.

The police were summoned and upon arrival, the wounded man was transported to the Noel Holmes hospital where he was pronounced dead.
