Hanover Police Seek Help to Identify Hit and Run Driver

Kingston, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – The Kingsvale police in the parish of Hanover are now asking members of the public for their assistance, to identify the driver of a motor vehicle which mowed down a man in the community on Wednesday morning, April 18, and left him for dead.

The victim who later succumbed to injuries at hospital has been identified as 46-year-old Hardly Beacher otherwise called “Pastor” laborer of Haughton Court in Lucea, Hanover.

Reports by the police are that, Beacher was last seen alive in Kingsvale community on Tuesday night where he had gone to work for a resident.

About 6:30 am, residents stumble upon him lying along the roadway in an unconscious state.

The police were summoned and upon arrival, the victim was transported to the Noel Holmes Hospital where he succumbed to injuries hours later.

The police have since related that, based on investigations, Beacher was walking along a section of the Kingsvale main road when he was run over by the driver who failed to stop.
