Jamaica Crime News, Hanover: On Wednesday, October 10, the Lucea police in the parish of Hanover, assembled a special search team, and carried out an all-out attempt, to locate Lloyd Buchanan, the popular bus operator who went missing on. Friday, September 28.
The police say a primary search team consisting of officers, community members and family of the missing man, have been combing sections of the Lucea area, in hope of locating him since the past week.
The police have confirmed that a Toyota Hiace minibus which is owned by Buchanan, was discovered abandoned at a location in Lucea.
The 53-year-old bus operator who hails from Kendal community in Hanover dropped out of existence since Friday, September 28. Three days later, about 8:00 a.m. on Monday, October 1, the bus which Buchanan operates along the Negril to Lucea route, was discovered at a section of the community known as First Hill.
The police stated that the minibus was discovered abandoned in the vicinity of the RADA office.
An investigation was carried out and the lawmen found what appeared to be blood stains on the seats of the vehicle.
