Detectives attached to the Centre for the Investigations of Sexual Offenses ( CISOCA), and the Inspectorate of Constabulary, have now launched an investigation, surrounding allegation that a Police Constable attached to the Lucea Police Headquarters, in Hanover, forcefully had sexual intercourse with a teenage girl, who has been held at the station’s holding area, between Wednesday night, into Thursday morning.
Reports are that the 15-year-old student of Longwood district, in Green Island, Hanover, was brought to the Lucea Family Court on Wednesday by her mother, where she was remanded into custody, by the presiding judge, who also ordered an evaluation to be done.
The child was brought back from the courthouse to the Lucea Headquarters, where she was being held overnight at the holding area.
The following morning, the child made a report to an officer that the police officer, who is now under investigation, allegedly had sexual intercourse with her against her will, during the course of Wednesday night, into Thursday morning.
A report was then made to Investigators from CISOCA, who are now investigating the incident.
The Constabulary Communication Network (CCU) has since released the statement confirming the allegations against the officer, and they have also related the officer in question, and another policeman from Kingston, have both been accused of committing sexual offenses during the course of this week, and they are both scheduled to be questioned on Friday, June 21.
