Hanover Jamaica (Mckoys News) – Hanover Motorist Shot in Westmoreland: A 46-year-old motorcyclist who resides in Sandy Bay, Hanover is now in hospital in serious but stable condition after he was shot and injured by a lone gunman in Llandilo, Westmoreland on Wednesday (September 27, 2017) night.

Reports are that about 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, the victim along with a pillion rider was traveling through the Llandilo Phase 2 Scheme. Both men had stopped at a shop to purchase a drink and as they were in the process of disembarking from the motorcycle a man armed with a handgun walked up to them and started firing several shots at them.

As the victim was about to ride away, he was shot several times to his upper and lower body. However, he still managed to get away from the location and was later assisted to the Sav La Mar Hospital where he was treated and admitted. The pillion rider escaped without being shot.
