Hanover Bar Operator Shot, Police Seeking Suspect

Hanover, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Hanover Bar Operator Shot: The Lucea police in the parish of Hanover are now searching for a man who shot and injured a 35-yr-old bar operator in Elgin Town on Sunday night. The police further stated that they are not prepared to release the name of the victim at this time.

Reports by the police are that shortly after 10:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 3, 2017, the victim who operates his business in Elgin Town was in the process of closing his bar for the night when he was ambushed by two men armed with handguns. The men opened fire, hitting him in the chest before making their escape in the area on foot.

The police were summoned and on arrival, the wounded man was rushed to the Noel Holmes Hospital where he was admitted in serious condition.
